By day I am the director of an adoption agency and a lawyer. At other times, I enjoy writing haiku, short stories and essays. I live on the outskirts of Philadelphia with my husband, younger son, who is profoundly disabled, and our companion dog who aspired to be a service dog, but failed. My older son is a journalist in Pittsburgh. Most week-end mornings I can be found in a dance studio.
